These Terms of Use govern your use of Receipt Scanner.
By using Receipt Scanner, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
1. The Service
Receipt Scanner helps you scan, save, organize, search, and export receipt and expense records.
The app may use automatic receipt recognition and smart receipt parsing to extract information such as merchant name, date, total amount, currency, taxes, payment method, categories, and receipt items.
2. Accuracy of Receipt Data
Receipt recognition may be incomplete or inaccurate.
You are responsible for reviewing and correcting all receipt data before relying on it. Receipt Scanner does not guarantee that extracted amounts, dates, categories, taxes, items, or other information will always be correct.
3. No Financial, Tax, or Accounting Advice
Receipt Scanner is a personal expense organization tool.
The app does not provide financial, tax, legal, or accounting advice. It should not be used as a substitute for professional advice or official financial records.
You are responsible for any decisions, filings, reports, or calculations based on your receipt data.
4. User Data
You are responsible for the receipts, images, notes, categories, and other data you add to the app.
You should keep your own backups of important records. We are not responsible for data loss, incorrect data, or any consequences resulting from reliance on app data.
5. Subscriptions and Payments
Receipt Scanner may offer paid subscriptions.
Subscriptions are billed through Apple App Store. Subscription pricing, trial availability, renewal terms, cancellation, and refund handling are managed by Apple.
You can manage or cancel your subscription through your Apple ID account settings.
If a free trial is offered, it will automatically convert to a paid subscription unless canceled before the trial ends.
6. Acceptable Use
You agree not to misuse the app or its backend services.
You must not attempt to disrupt, reverse engineer, overload, abuse, bypass payment, or access systems or data without authorization.
7. Third-Party Services
Receipt Scanner may rely on third-party services for functions such as receipt recognition, backend processing, app infrastructure, diagnostics, subscriptions, and hosting.
These services may process limited data as needed to provide app functionality.
8. Changes to the App
We may update, change, suspend, or discontinue parts of the app at any time.
We may also update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the app after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
